After the event …
On a showery Saturday (12 August) 16 volunteers braved the weather and weeded in the western corner of our project area.
If you look near the high tide exit gate on the RH Track you will see what a difference 16 volunteer hours can make to a patch of weed infested coastal scrub. The main weeds removed were asparagus fern, pittosporum and mirror bush.
In between showers everyone enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea back at the picnic table.
Students from Melbourne volunteered to help with our Coast Banksia Woodland Project.
