LOCAL NOTES:

Although Coast Ballart is listed as endangered in Victoria it is locally common throughout the Coastal Reserve and in some remnant bush in the Sandy Point township.

It is a much branched shrub with tiny leaves and flowers. It has a purplish fruit on the end of a white fruiting receptacle which is attractive to birds.
